Anambra State Govt To Sustain Capacity Building In Education Sector…

Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has unveiled plans by the state government to recruit additional two thousand, five hundred teachers in addition to the five thousand recruited in 2022.
Professor Chuma-Udeh disclosed this during the official takeover of Umuji Community College, Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area by Anambra State Government. She noted that when Governor Soludo declared a state of emergency on Anambra State Roads, he also declared an emergency on the state educational sector, hence the massive hiring of teachers.
While lauding the community for taking the initiative to secure their children’s future by constructing the college, Professor Chuma-Udeh stated that history has been made and advised other communities to emulate Ebenebe Community as she promised to donate some books to the school’s library.
